The Team: Fiona Lugo-Mulligan

Fiona Lugo-Mulligan, Traceability Program Director

 
Fiona is an environmental scientist who has been working in the world of supply chain traceability for over a decade. Before entering the realm of seafood sustainability, she worked extensively in Latin America on projects ranging from the creation and implementation of REDD+ programs to tracking the trade of illegal timber from the Amazon to the United States. 
 
She received her Master’s in Environmental Management from Duke University, subsequently co-founding a startup company providing DNA testing services for seafood providers while also working as a Palm Oil Campaigner for Greenpeace. Fiona’s interest in environmental justice work was sparked early on at Colgate University, where she holds a B.A. in Environmental Theory and Social Justice.
